What time should I arrive at the venue?

Please arrive promptly at five o’clock in the evening (no earlier, please!) to enjoy a welcome drink and be seated before our ceremony begins at half past five (5:30 pm).

What are my transportation options?

Shuttle

If you are staying at one of our designated hotel blocks, either The Evangeline Hotel or The Old Orchard Inn, we are providing a shuttle service that will transport guests to the wedding venue and return them to the hotels at the end of the evening. Stay tuned for pick-up/drop-off times!

Taxi

Wolfville does have a taxi service, CJ’s Taxi Ltd, that is cash only (902-670-6700).

Drive

If you won’t be drinking, there is plenty of free parking available on site.

What is the dress code?

Black tie optional/formal attire.

We ask that you wear a suit or a dress shirt with a tie and dress pants (no jeans, please).

A floor-length gown or cocktail dress is appropriate (pantsuits are fine too).

Can I bring my children?

We love your kids! However, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

We will be having an unplugged ceremony. We respectfully ask that you keep your phones turned off during the ceremony, and please refrain from taking any pictures. We are working with a great photographer who will be capturing wonderful photos we can’t wait to share with you!

What is the weather like in Nova Scotia in November?

Great question! Nova Scotia is known for its unpredictable weather. Late October/early November, you can expect temperatures to be cool, ranging from 0 to 20 degrees Celsius with an average of around 14 degrees Celsius. You can expect sun, cloud, and rain, usually no snow yet!

Don’t worry, our wedding will be entirely indoors.

What happens after the ceremony?

All wedding activities are taking place at the vineyard. After the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour followed by dinner, and then a reception. Please see the schedule section of our website for more information.

Is the venue accessible?

Yes – ramps and a service elevator make all main areas of the building accessible.

Do you have a registry?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you wish to contribute to our future together, a monetary gift would be sincerely appreciated.
